“SharePoint Migration Assessment Tool” or SMAT for short. The tool is a simple command line executable that scans the contents of a SharePoint farm to help identify the impact of migrating to SharePoint Online with Office 365.

The SMAT tool is available in two modes: Assessment and Identity Mapping. The assessment mode runs scans against the SharePoint farm and associated content looking for issues that have been known to cause problems for customers migrating into SharePoint Online. The Identity Mapping mode allows you to generate a report of all the user and group identities that have access to your SharePoint environment and attempts to map those identities to Azure AD user and group identities

Secure Store Service is a shared service that provides storage and mapping of credentials, 

such as account names and passwords. It enables you to securely store data that provides credentials required for connecting to external systems and associating those credentials to a specific identity or group of identities. 

SharePoint Online supports Secure Store Service Applications.

1. Secure Store applications are not migrated. 
2. These Secure Store Applications must be created manually in SPO.
3. SharePoint Online only supports the Group Restricted type

The product group released the May 2022 Cumulative Update for SharePoint Server 2016 product family.

This CU also includes Feature Pack 1 which was released with December 2016 CU and Feature Pack 2 which was released with September 2017 CU.

February 2022 CU for SharePoint 2013

February 2022 CU for SharePoint 2013:

The product group released the February 2022 Cumulative Update for the SharePoint 2013 product family.

For February 2022 CU we have full server packages (also known as Uber packages) for all products. No other CU is required to fully patch SharePoint.

Note:

Be aware that all Updates for SharePoint 2013 require SharePoint Server 2013 SP1 to be installed first.

This CU includes all SharePoint 2013 fixes (including all SharePoint 2013 security fixes) released since SP1. The CU does not include SP1. You need to install SP1 before installing this CU.
