    SharePoint Designer Settings:
 

     In this article I am explaining the Options that we can see on SharePoint Designer settings for better understanding and what option do what exactly

                                     

1.    Enable SharePoint Designer — Determines whether SharePoint Designer can be used at all

2.    Enable Detaching Pages from the Site Definition — Allows edited pages to be customized and detached from the site definition

3.    Enable Customizing Master Pages and Layout Pages — Removes the Master Page link from the Navigation pane and prevents the ability to update master pages and layout pages

4.    Enable Managing of the Web Site URL Structure — Removes the All Files link from the Navigation pane

      Installation: Follow the below steps to install and configure in SharePoint 2013.

1.     Run setup.exe

   

2.     Click on Run

3.     Accept the Agreement and continue

         

4.     Click on Install now for New Installation

                   

5.     If want to change the path And options click on Customize

                               

6.     Once the path changed, click on Install now.

7.     Installation in Progress

           

    

8.     Once done, click Close                         

 9.     You can see the designer in programs under Microsoft office 2013.

                               

   How to Connect with SharePoint server 2013:

1.     Go to central administration->General application settings->configure SharePoint designer settings

2.     Ensure to Check the options below.

 Pre-requisites: below are the pre-requisites.

1.      operating systems — Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012,Windows 7, and Windows 8.

2.      NET 4.0 Framework or higher installed

Noted Points:

1.      if you have the 64-bit version of Office 2010 installed, you must download and use the 64-bit version of SharePoint Designer 2013

2.      if you previously downloaded and installed the 32-bit version of SharePoint Designer 2007 and SharePoint Designer2010 and don’t even have Office installed, you must download the 32-bit version of SharePoint Designer 2013 to match your earlier versions of the product. Otherwise, you must uninstall the previous versions of the product before you can install the 64-bit version of SharePoint Designer 2013

The SharePoint Health Analyzer detected an error.Content databases contain orphaned items.

 Issue description: In some situations, a content database that is used by Microsoft SharePoint Foundation may become corrupted. The corrupted database may contain orphaned items. For example, a document may not have a parent document library or a list may not have a parent Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Web site.  Consequently, you may be unable to create new items with the same URL as the orphaned items, and space in the content database will be consumed unnecessarily

Resolution: A specific article from MS on this which helps  to resolve this issue.
