View in Browser” does not work
only for PowerPoint files and Document Preview has not been working in SharePoint 2013.
Issue: View in Browser” does not work only for PowerPoint
files but its working for Excel files and
Document Preview has not been working.
Solution: As long as we don’t have Office Web Apps installed in
a dedicated server, we will not have
this “View in Browser” function for all Office documents.
PowerPoint Conversion Service
Application is to handle PPTX to PDF conversion and not for browser rendering.
